Education: BA from CU Boulder

What’s one thing you’ve done that makes you the most proud (personal or professional)? My family, but especially my kids.  I love to watch them grow, try new things, and excel, supporting and challenging them to be the best they can be is an honor.  I look forward to the future and all the fun milestones ahead.

How do you spend your free time? We are outdoor enthusiasts no matter the season, camping an boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. I’m always working on some home project and love to see the results of my handy work.  My son and I are starting to get into fly fishing, while still  amateurs we enjoy the time together.

Bucket List Item? I would love to move from city to city across America living in a new place for six months before moving to the next, exploring each of their cultures and local fare.

What is your go-to “get to work” song or playlist? I’m lame… I listen to NPR all day. It helps to keep me calm from the stresses of construction. My kickoff workout playlist would start with System of a Down.

Any fun nicknames? My old roommates in college used to call me MacGyver because I’m super resourceful and a great problem solver.

Best advice you ever received? You can do anything you set your mind to, and don’t let others negativity push you down. People will always tell you “can’t”, and I’ve used that as motivation to accomplish many of the successes I’ve had in my career.

What other job titles have you had in your career? General Manager, Superintendent, Estimator.

Why do you like your job? I love to work with teams to create amazing spaces. Building new environments for others to work in, find efficiencies and be more successful is very rewarding.
